I had to save Vincent from a very small log jam today, his body was under the logs and just his little head was out. He was swimming as hard as he could, but was fading as the river was flowing fast. I grabbed him first trying not to get submerged myself and tried to get him to shore, but he got sucked right back into where all the water was funneling, and so did my right leg. I then had to wedge myself between two logs and above the water where Vincent was grabbed his head and pulled him up onto my lap and then up and over my head to safety. I was soaking. As soon as he was up there he gave a happy little shake completely drenching me. And I would do it again in a second. He is the best!
